Take-A-Breather is a unique workshop offered during the change of seasons to support the alignment of our physical, mental and spiritual functions. The changes we can see, hear, taste, smell and touch not only affect our daily lives and routines but affect our internal system as well. This workshop is designed to increase our ability to adjust to these seasonal changes by promoting harmony between our inner and outer worlds. This 2 1/2 hour Friday evening practice will include a specific sequence of pranayama (breathing techniques), asana (postures) and meditation to help us get our bodies, minds and spirits on the same page in order to strengthen our connection with nature. During the candlelit savasana, Reiki and aromatherapy will promote deep relaxation and beckon the wisdom of our inner knowing. The practice ends with a period of self reflection and journal writing followed by tea and refreshments. Writing journals will be available for $20.
