Take-A-Breather is a unique workshop offered during the change of seasons to support the alignment of our physical, mental and spiritual functions. The changes we can see, hear, taste, smell and touch not only affect our daily lives and routines but affect our internal system as well. This workshop is designed to increase our ability to adjust to these seasonal changes by promoting harmony between our inner and outer worlds.

This 2 1/2 hour Friday evening practice will include a specific sequence of pranayama (breathing techniques), asana (postures) and meditation to help us get our bodies, minds and spirits on the same page in order to strengthen our connection with nature. During the candlelit savasana, Reiki and aromatherapy will promote deep relaxation and beckon the wisdom of our inner knowing. The practice ends with a period of self reflection and journal writing followed by tea and refreshments.

Writing journals will be available for $20.


When:
Friday, October 8th

Time: 7:00-9:30pm

Cost: $40 in advance or $50 at the door

This workshop will be limited to 15 participants.

Chair Yoga enables everyone to experience the full benefits of a yoga practice. In this class we explore centering, breath awareness, relaxation techniques and various standing and sitting postures to open and strengthen the body while using the support of a chair.

Yoga is a universal practice. It guides us to find a connection between our own body, mind,heart, spirit and breath. Come join us as we open ourselves to all the benefits of yoga.

Time: 11:15pm-12:15pm

Cost: 10 classes for $99 / $18 for an individual session

About Victoria

After practicing yoga for 9 years, Vicki entered the Ishta Yoga Teacher Training at Yoga Life to broaden her knowledge of anatomy and yogic philosophy. There she found another layer to the inspiring and nurturing community of yogis and made an unexpected discovery. The love of teaching.

Vicki’s intention is to reach deep within to inspire her teaching practice as we all move towards that moment of stillness when our hearts can open fully.

Rise and shine and shine some more! Yoga Life is pleased to offer a 8week series of early AM yoga this September and October. Whether you're a commuter, early riser or simply inspired to practice with the rising sun, this series offers you a way to start your day (b)right!

Classes will be Open level.

When: Wednesdays 5:45-6:45am
9/8,9/15,9/22,9/29
and
10/6,10/13,10/20, and 10/27

Cost: $100 for 8 weeks

There will be a minimum of 5 students pre-registered required to run this class.
